March Workshop: HERBS for TRAVEL

HERE, NEAR, AFAR, & ABROAD…HERBS ARE EVERY WHERE, & CAN GIVE LIFE-SUPPORTING ASSISTANCE IN TIMES OF NEED. JOIN US TO LEARN WHICH HERBS YOU SHOULD ALWAYS TRAVEL WITH. WE WILL DISCUSS THE ESSENTIAL HERBS & REMEDIES TO HAVE ON HAND FOR MINOR EMERGENCIES THAT MAY ARISE DURI…NG YOUR ADVENTURES (MOTION SICKNESS, VERTIGO, INFECTIONS, VIRUSES, INTESTINAL INFECTIONS/FOOD POISONING & STRESS FOR THE BUSINESS PERSON OR TRUCK DRIVER THAT IS ON THE ROAD MORE THAN OCCASSIONALLY).
In addition to discussing what should be in your herbal travel kit, we will make garlic-infused & ginger-infused medicinal honeys, both fantastic remedies to have on hand when travelling. Cost of class is $40. If you’d like to attend the Lawrence workshop, which just so happens to fall on ST. PATTY’S DAY ( : ( ), keep in mind that the friendly town of Lawrence has a pretty rockin parade that day!
March begins the herbal apprentice program and work-trade opportunities. Lawrence class will run from 1-3. If you would like to do a partial or full trade for this class or just want to come get your hands in the dirt and gain an intimate relationship with the healing plants, please arrive at our farm PROMPTLY at 10 am, and bring a potluck dish to share for lunch.
